Hit John Kerry with a Stick

John Kerry.

John Kerry...John Kerry...John Kerry.

That boy needs to go the Shaolin Temple and get some training.

Before he goes, he ought to get over to http://www.shaolinsecrets.com and get his very own copy of Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I.

And then he needs to study it, read it; devour it. Carry it with him at all times.

Especially those times when he starts to do something that can jeopardize his political career...

Like open his mouth.

He needs to go to the Shaolin Temple. At the Temple, there is no talking. The training is the instructor teaching, you doing, and him correcting you when you screw up.

When I was training there this past summer, we trained for hours outside in the stifling, humid heat. The instructor should us a set of moves, and then we would follow him over and over and over.

Because we couldn't speak Chinese, we had to use body movements and language to communicate anything. Lucky for us we weren't considered disciples of the Temple and living there full-time. If we were, we may have been subjected to the stick.

During your early years of training, if there is talking or an attempt to tell a tasteless political joke, you get whacked with a stick. You focus on training and perfecting your craft, and that's it.

This sort of training would be great for John Kerry.

Maybe it would be better if John Kerry only spoke in Chinese to the media. Think of all the things he could have avoided over the years.

Photos of his testimony in front of Congress. All the speaking he did that came back to haunt him after Vietnam. The Swift Boat Blunder.

His call for peace from the Swiss Alps. And now his latest example of "Step-On-the-Shovel-and-Hit-Yourself-in-the-Face."...his tasteless attempt at a joke about education, our servicemen in the Armed Forces and the White House.

Yep. It's time for Senator Kerry to learn Chinese, get his own copy of Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I...and go to China for awhile.

He needs to get hit with a stick.

Best,

William Huff

P.S. - Lucky for you, you don't need to get hit with a stick to get on the free teleseminar next Thursday, November 9th at 5:00 pm PST. There will be interviews, a Q & A session, some teaching and other good stuff. DO NOT miss this call.

To call in, dial 212.990.8000and hit pin 2230# to access the call.

Easy There...Don't Be Mad at Me

Whoa...

Man, the old Internet line is "en fuego" since I sent the "Hit John Kerry with a Stick" e-mail.

The vast majority of you sent in overwhelmingly positive responses and gave your own opinions on the matter; some were so funny you had me in stitches.

Thanks and keep your questions, responses and feedback coming.

There were some of you, however...that sent answers back so bitter or so outrageously p.o'd that you made even me, the former Marine, blush.

So I say to you who sent the nasty-grams...Thank You.

At least you are taking the time to read when I write to you.

Now let's clear some things up. There was no political statement about anyone.

There was no endorsement of any political party.

There was no defense of any political point of view or policy.

There was no corruption of the spirituality of the Shaolin Temple with politics.

There was no preaching of my politics or anyone else's.

All I said was that John Kerry really blew it (which he did), had blown it before (which he did) and could use the training of the martial arts to control himself and keep from making mistakes.

I took a relevant situation in the news and used it as a teaching tool about how the martial arts can help anyone.

The martial arts happens to be a great tool for learning about life, success, happiness, focus as well as self defense.

Anyone...politicians, soldiers, Moms, Dads, kids, the elderly, professionals... all could use the martial arts to better themselves and their lives.

To his credit, Senator Kerry did the right thing and apologized to the troops. It was a stand-up thing to do and he deserves credit for it. Many men, especially politicians, could learn from Senator Kerry in this regard.

For now, let's hope that the Senator gets over to http://www.shaolinsecrets.com and gets a copy of Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I and starts to study it.

Then he won't have to worry about the whole apologizing thing anymore.

Best,

William Huff

P.S. - If you really want to let me have it (just kidding) make sure that you are on the Teleseminar call on Thursday, November 9th at 5:00 PST. There will be teaching about the Shaolin Principles, interviews, a Q and A session and other surprises. This is the first and only call of the year so dial 212.990.8000 and enter 2230# to access the call.

We'll start at 5:00 PM sharp so don't miss the call.

Orthopedic Surgeon uses Shaolin Secrets Treatment

I'm sitting here, literally writing you from my favorite coffee shop enjoying this beautiful (and unseasonably warm) November day in sunny Southern California.

I'm particularly chipper today because I just left my orthopedic surgeon's office. My pinky finger and I got a clean bill of health today, but not in the traditional way you would think.

About a month and a half ago, I dislocated my pinky finger at the first joint up from the hand. Did a single leg shoot on this guy and snagged his training pants, jerking the pinky finger out at a ninety degree angle.

It was one of those silly injuries that you don't even feel when you do it. It wasn't until I looked down and saw my finger poking out the wrong way that I realized I was hurt.

Seeing it, I grabbed it, took a deep breath...and snapped it back in.

Oooohhhh...then it started to hurt.

My finger blew up like a balloon so I went to this orthopedic doc to check it out and make sure I hadn't broken any bones or gotten a bone chip in the joint.

He checks it out, does the x-ray deal and says, "Nothing broken, but you did wipe out the ligament on the inside of your pinky finger. I think we should do occupational hand therapy and if that doesn't work, we might have to operate."

Operate...uh, no thanks.

I asked him if he was a martial artist; he said no but that he was an admirer of non-traditional medicines and treatments. I told him a little bit about my background and the Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I, and then I made him a deal.

I said, "Doc, how about you let me work on my hand with the massage, breathing and pressure points taught in Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I, and after one month, I'll come back and you can check me out."

Being a sharp, forward thinking dude, he agreed.

That was a month ago. I stretched my finger, worked it, massaged it daily. I used pressure points and deep breathing as taught in Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I. I also used some of the hand training exercises that are illustrated inside Volume I.

And today, with a big smile, the Doc said I was G2G - good to go. I've got full range of motion and minimal soreness. About another two to four weeks and it will be 100%.

When I told him what it was I did and where I learned it, he asked for my card and said, "I have always thought that non-traditional treatments were effective. Your case has really opened my eyes and I'd like to get a copy for myself."

While I hope that I don't ever have to use his services in the future, I'm going to stay in touch with the Doc to see how he uses the information in Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I.

Maybe he'll be able to cut down on the amount of operations he does on people with an "Owee" of their pinky.

Best,

William Huff

Super Tuesday...and Thursday

Unless you live on the moon you know that today is the day to vote.

By now many of you have already voted and exercised your right to choose who you think would best represent you and your beliefs in government.

The right to vote is one of the things that makes this country great; the ability to influence the way your country and government is run.

There has been great pain in the past birthing this nation and all the rights and privileges that come with living here and being a part of it.

Luckily, this Thursday, November 9th, there won't be any pain at all birthing the first ever Shaolin Secrets Teleseminar.

This call is for:

1. Anyone who owns Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I and wants more in-depth understanding about the material in side it and how to use it

2. It ‘s for anyone who has been a "fence sitter" - afraid to take the next step and wants to make sure this information is the "real deal" - and needs a kick in the pants to get off the fence

3. Anyone who wants to get ahead of the pack and get the latest information from the Sacred Scrolls of the Shaolin Temple

Believe me...you will regret it if you miss this call - or the announcements that go with it.

It's this Thursday, November 9th at 5:00 pm PST. There will be interviews, teaching, a Q & A session and exciting announcement about Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume II AND another project that was just finished last week that is going to knock your socks off.

DO NOT miss this call.

The number to call in is 212.990.8000, pin is 2230# to join the call.

Can't wait for Thursday. Talk to you then.

Best,

William Huff

50 lbs. of Manure or 5 Ounces of Gold

50 lbs. of Manure or 5 Ounces of Gold

In many things size does matter.

We're Americans; we like big things. Trump Towers, Trump Casino...Trump Anything.

Big buildings, big cars, big boats, big cities...you name it, we like it big.

Look at the explosion of sizable business concepts. Super Wal-Mart, Super K-Mart (before the bankruptcy) Sam's Club, Price Costco and the list goes on.

That doesn't mean that the bigger something is, the more it's worth.

Value isn't restricted by size. Value is all about what something is worth...to you.

My Dad had a heart scare a while back. I wrote about how mad I got at him because, true to his generation, they generally have the attitude that, "you grow up, you work, and then you die."

He doesn't exercise, won't watch his diet and absolutely won't question or push his doctor for a morsel of information. I've gone round and round with him and it hasn't worked.

So, being the inventive one of the family, he gets all kinds of "anonymous" gifts throughout the year as well as blatant birthday and Christmas gifts on diet, health and fitness, etc... I told him no more fancy Hawaiin shirts until he starts working out.

I'll tell you how that goes later.

One of the books I got him was a book on bodyweight exercises. It's not that many pages, it's black and white and costs around forty bucks or so.

The information inside is incredible. If you were to follow it, there is a list of great things as long as my arm that it can do to improve your health.

How valuable is that information if my Dad follows it and lives a year longer.

He'll be around for the birth of his grandchildren. His Dad wasn't. I never knew my Grandfather.

He'll be around for more father-son fishing trips.

He'll be around for more football games on Sundays, watching his beloved Miami Dolphins (as bad as they are right now).

He'll be around for the times when family drops in unannounced and takes him out for a special night.

He'll be around for more Christmases, birthdays and all the other special times that a parent and a grandparent cherish.

How much is that worth.

I'd pay just about anything to keep Dad around longer. The value of that information in the book I bought him isn't worth forty bucks; that's just what the guy who wrote the book is charging.

The value is priceless.

Something doesn't have to be huge or break a table with its weight to be valuable.

50 lbs of horse manure is not more valuable than 5 ounces of gold, but it does weigh more.

Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I is the first of ten volumes of the written recorded history, training principles and techniques of the legendary Shaolin Temple of China.
The information contained inside is priceless; no one outside of the Temple has ever even seen this information before.

Ever.

It has health secrets, principles of combat, physical training secrets, history of great monks and much, much more.

You can learn more at http://www.shaolinsecrets.com. Get over there NOW and learn for yourself how rare, timeless and valuable this information is.

Best,

William Huff

P.S. - Today is the big day. The Teleseminar is tonight at 5:00 pm PST. Dial into 212.990.8000 with pin 2230# and get onto this call. There's going to be teaching on Volume I, interviews with people who have used the information and a Q & A session. It's going to be awesome and there are some very special announcements happening at the end of the call...so don't miss it.

Take Control of Your Head for the Holidays

Wow...where did this year go.

I'm shocked that Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.

People celebrate these times all different ways. Some people like to spend it with just their spouse and children.

Back when I was single, I would go over to be with friends that were like family to me. Or if I was in a mood to torture myself, I'd fly home to be with my family. (Just kidding...love you, Mom.)

My wife and I are now in demographic of DINK's - Dual Income No Kids. Yes, we have a two seat sports car. And yes, we try to take trips at every available opportunity because we know when the kiddies come, that will come to a screeching halt.

Since we are DINK's and my wife is very close to her family, I'll be putting on my hand pads and helmet and slugging it out with the rest of the world that decides to fly anywhere during Thanksgiving as we go visit my in-laws.

When you visit family, sometimes its fun, and sometimes it's a lot of stress. Kids running around, everyone talking loudly; the standard drama between at least two family members in a disagreement...and the mandatory one family member that drinks too much and makes a scene.

Ahhhh...family.

But that's just the entertainment. What's important about the Holidays, family time or even the evenings and weekends is what you do mentally.

When you get home at night, are you still "working" in your head. When you're at the office, are you thinking you should be with the kids. When you are with the kids, are you thinking you need to be at the office.

When you are with the family these next couple of holidays, will you be stressing about work, feet twitching as you can't wait to get back to the office.

Or will you be there, present in body and mind, enjoying the time with family, soaking up the good energy and being thankful for what you have.

In Secrets of the Shaolin Temple, available at http://www.shaolinsecrets.com, there are references and lessons on what to do with your mind and how to use it properly.

The monks of the Shaolin Temple knew that in order for someone to be trained properly in the Shaolin arts, they would first have to get the pupil to learn how to control their mind.

To control their thoughts; be able to direct their mental energy into something positive and constructive. The monks understood that if the mind wasn't under control and directed properly, that it would interfere with the pupil's training.

This works the same way if you are a monk training at the Temple or a working father of three on the way to visit the parents for the Holidays.

You can spend that time with your mind wandering, worrying about how you are going to pay for this or that; complaining to yourself that you hate your job but you make too much money to leave...

Or you can take control; focus your thoughts, breathe properly and enjoy every second of your off time, the time that is necessary to re-charge you batteries and keep yourself positive and energized.

If you don't know how to "turn on" your mental controls and "turn off" work or anything that takes away from the quality of your relaxation time, get over to http://www.shaolinsecrets.com and pick up your own copy of Secrets of the Shaolin Temple.

Make every minute with yourself, your family and loved ones the kind of quality time that builds something that money can't buy...memories.

Best,

William Huff

Why There are No Fat Shaolin Monks

Happy Post Holidays to you.

If you were anything like me, you probably stuffed yourself like a Thanksgiving Turkey this past Holiday.

While I was recovering from my food induced coma, I was watching some football and a commercial came on for a special report to be shown on some news show.

I believe that the report was to be about a chemical contamination in the air and soil of some town and how it was affecting the residents.

What caught my attention wasn't whether or not it was chemicals or anything else; they interviewed one of the townspeople who said, "I have difficulty taking a breath; it's hard just to breathe."

This guy was huge - had to be close to 300 lbs.

Well... no kidding. If I weighed close to 300 lbs, it'd be hard for me to breathe, too.

This isn't to downplay if there is a chemical problem in their town; if there is it needs to be addressed and fixed.

This is to talk about what people are missing. America is getting fatter and fatter. America is the only country were even poor people are fat.

When I was in China training at the Shaolin Temple, I didn't see any fat monks. Not one. These guys train for the majority of the day and when they are not training, they work to keep the Temple clean and functioning.

I have a friend that just returned from six weeks of training and living with the monks. He told me that he didn't see any fat monks either.

Being healthy and fit is a part of their lifestyle; their identity. Their thinking is that they have no choice but to be fit and healthy.

Do you have to quit your job and go live at the Temple to be healthy and learn the arts. No.

Do you have to be a vegetarian, fruitarian, vegan, raw foodist, seafood eater, or follow any eating plan named after a person or a place. No.

Do you have to subject yourself to surgery. No.

All you have to do is use some common sense. Follow the way humans have been eating for millions of years (before grain, flour and sugar) and get your behind moving.

Taking up a hobby or sport that requires full-body participation, with you moving and using your whole body as a tool is a great way to start to whip yourself into shape.

Martial arts would be great for you. And you can't do that unless you go to http://www.shaolinsecrets.com and pick up Secrets of the Shaolin Temple Volume I.

This volume, written by the Warrior Monks of the Shaolin Temple themselves, is the first in the series of ten volumes of the written recorded history of the Shaolin Temple.

It has all there training techniques, philosophies, health and exercise examples and principles of combat right there so anyone, regardless of experience, can begin to study and learn the ancient principles that have kept the Shaolin Temple one of the fittest places on earth.

Hey, during the Holidays, it's okay to eat and do what you want. It's the Holidays.

You still want to do something so you don't turn into a total food blister; but that's not what's important.

What's important is what you do the rest of the time.

Get over to http://www.shaolinsecrets.com and get your copy of Secrets of the Shaolin Temple.

And start getting fit like a Shaolin Monk.

Best,

William Huff

P.S. - Huge happenings on the horizon. The teleseminar was a huge success and I got a lot of great feedback form many of you that were on the call. Because of that call, there are going to be some exciting thing s being released very soon. Stay tuned.

How Masters Do It

This past weekend I was up in the Bay Area visiting relatives for the Holidays.

One of the days I was up there I went golfing with my brother-in-law at a course that sat right on the San Francisco Bay with views of the Golden Gate and the Pacific Ocean.

I stink at golf; it the single most frustrating, time-consuming and addictive sports that ever existed and I curse the names of the men who invented it...

Except when I blast one off the tee that goes 200 plus yards in a laser-like straight line.

It's safe to say that I spent the majority of my time ball searching, swearing like a sailor and thinking about chucking my clubs in the frigid San Francisco Bay.

While I was enjoying myself, I thought about Tiger Woods.

That dude is a Master. A Master of Golf.

He understands the science; the "why" that makes him able to dissect, analyze, modify, change and improve his game whenever he feels like it.

A couple of years ago, he fired his coach and decided to change his swing. At the time, he was the most dominant golfer around and everyone said he was crazy to mess with his swing or anything else for that matter.

Tiger slipped and didn't when for awhile. He was honing his new skills and constantly improving.

And then he came roaring back. He now sits at the top of Golf Mountain, King of the Hill.

Guess what else he does that makes him a Master.

Guess who is the only golfer that is first at the driving range, putting range or the greens for sunrise practice - whether or not it's raining, cold, snowing or anything else.

Yep. He is.

The best golfer in the world still practices like he did when he was on the golf team at Stanford.

This morning I was working out with five Masters of the Shaolin Arts. Between then there were about a hundred plus years worth of experience.

Guess what we worked on for over and hour...our fundamentals and applications.

We could have gone into our higher, more complicated and intricate stuff, but we all automatically started working on the things we learned years and years ago. Footwork drills, movement drills, application of different principles and on and on.

You can be a Master. A Master of whatever you want. How you do it is the same as how Tiger became King of Golf Mountain; how Trump is the King of All He Sees and how your kids can talk you into almost anything they want...

You work at it. You focus on the fundamental principles and you don't stop.

Ever.

That's how Masters do it.

Best,

William Huff
